Born in the province of Alicante, a historic land of the Zapatera tradition, Claire Charlotte draws on over twenty-five years of family heritage to imagine clogs and sandals with a sober, sculpted, and timeless design.
Before being a brand, Claire Charlotte is a story of expertise and patience. Since 1998, the Jiménez family has been quietly crafting wood, natural cork, and microporous soles for major international fashion houses. It is this technical mastery of the foundation—an element as discreet as it is essential—that today forms the heart and signature of the project.
It was in 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, that the family decided to take the leap and transform two decades of know-how into a full-fledged house. Inspired by French elegance and driven by the Mediterranean spirit, the brand takes its name from an imaginary female figure: natural, elegant, and assertive.
Here, there is no mass production; Claire Charlotte orchestrates a comprehensive and demanding manufacturing process. The brand conceives, polishes, and assembles every piece in its workshops, creating its own heels and structures. From initial development to the final rivet, each pair passes through the hands of various artisans and requires approximately six hours of attention.
